Prayer Points for March 2025

  1. Born again – “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God” (John 3:3.5). Jesus set the condition to be saved. We are washed by the Word as we obey and repent of our sin and put our trust in Jesus who paid the penalty of sin on the cross. Then God grants us to be borne by the His Spirit.
  2. Counterculture – “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature” Corinthians 5:17). When we are born by the Spirit of God, we are a new creation and have a new identity. We have become children of God and citizen of heaven. We are God’s ambassadors on earth. Allow for the Lord to use you to expand His Kingdom today.
  3. Learning how to pray – “Lord, teach us to pray” (Luke 11:16). As the disciples of old, so we can learn from Jesus how to pray. The Lord’s prayer is the model. We can call God our Father and approach Him with all our requests. He wants to reveal to us what real paternity is all about.
  4. God first – “Our Father in heaven hallowed be your name” (Matthew 6:9) Our love to God is demonstrated by the fact that He occupies the first place in our life, that nothing is more important than our relationship with Him. A good indicator for that is the way we invest our time. Become a man of the Word.
  5. Love for our neighbor – “Your kingdom come; your will be done on earth, as it is in heaven” (Matthew 6:10). Jesus sent his disciples to spread the Gospel, so that men would turn back to God submitting their lives to Him and be saved. The great commission to spread the Gospel is valid and still our mandate today.
  6. Provision -“Give us each day our daily bread” (Matthew 6:11). As a loving Father God cares for us and wants to provide each day for our needs. He treats us with respect and doesn’t impose, rather wants to hear our prayers. Let’s never forget that every good gift comes from our Father for our enjoyment.
  7. Forgiveness – “And forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors” (Matthew 6:12). Jesus bore on the cross the debt for all. To forgive is the conscious act to cancel the debt others have with us. That sets us free in our own hearts. The good news is that I too can ask God to release me from my debts and be forgiven.
  8. Temptation – “And lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil” (Matthew 6:13). God knows about the destructive power in us and all the evil that besets us from outside. Because we are unable to overcome in our own strength we can ask the Lord for help. He is always ready to help us obtain the victory.
  9. Priorities-“Finish your outdoor work and get your fields ready; after that, build your house” (Proverbs 24:27). God is the creator of all things and designated man to cultivate and rule. Live by His priorities. Honor Him with alli you do. Ask Him to guide you in your investments. Trust Him also to provide for you and your family.
  10. Grace- “God, who is rich in mercy made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions” (Ephesians 2:4.5). Because the natural man has biological life but is spiritually dead, God sent His Son into the world to redeem us. If you received Jesus by faith, you have spiritual life. Rejoice in God’s grace.
  11. Riches -“The blessing of the Lord brings wealth, and he adds no trouble to it” (Proverbs 10:22). Men are tempted to invest their all into their profession. and do everything to go ahead in life. But real wealth is not what we have, rather who we are. The beauty of character and the joy of the Lord are the greatest riches.
  12. The greatest commandment -“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all you soul, and with all your mind” (Matthew 22:37). We are God’s creation and life is His gift to us. Pray to be in tune with Him always and to become a real worshiper who honors God with all you are, do and have.
  13. 13. Harmony in marriage – “However, each one of you also must love his wife as he loves himself, and the wife must respect her husband’ (Ephesians 5:33). Marriage is the bedrock of the family. Secular ideologies seek to destroy the family by banalizing sexual relationships. Pray to set an example of love and harmony in your marriage.
  14. 14. God is looking for a man-“I looked for a man among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land (Ezekie 22:30). Men have a leadership role at home and society. God expects from us character, courage, commitment and readiness to engage in spiritual battle. Be such a man of God.
  15. Lukewarm-“So because you are lukewarm, and neither hot nor cold, I will spit you out of my mouth” (Revelation 3:16). To blend in, to be politically correct, or to go with the flow are the easiest ways to avoid conflict. But Christ expects of his followers to be salt and light in the world. Pray to live and preach. the Gospel through your life.
  16. Humility -“All of you, cloth yourselves with humility toward one another” (1Peter 5:5). In today’s culture humility is a scarce commodity. But the Bible challenges the humanistic worldview of society and gives us the key for harmonious relationships. Pray to be a disciple of Christ and learn from Him what true humility is.
  17. Endure by seeing God – “Dear Lord, change my thinking from walking by sight to walking by faith. Cause me to see You working in all things. Please enable me to endure hardship by trusting You to work all things for my good and Your glory. Thank You for the eyes of faith, that allow me to see, hear and know God!” (Hebrews 11:27)
  18. God within you – “Oh Lord, knowing about You is one thing, but containing Your life is so much better. You are within me. Your indwelling presence comforts and sustains me. Thank You for giving me everything I need in Christ, so that I can be all that I was meant to be through Christ.” (John 14:20)
  19. Living by faith – “Lord Jesus, You have made life very simple. You have justified me and made me righteous in You. You did this in order for me to experience Your life. Therefore, by faith I trust You to live Your life through me. Thank You that now I am able to truly live by the faith of the Son of God”(Romans 1:17)
  20. Walking in the Spirit – “Oh God, my attempts at living the Christian life have been more fumbling, stumbling and falling than walking. Therefore, I give up and yield myself completely to the control of the Holy Spirit. Please fill me with Your Spirit and live Your life through me. Cause me to walk correctly.” (Galatians 5:25)
  21. Grace by the Spirit -“Oh God, I have encountered so many obstacles that seemed overwhelming. But now, I see that these are Your instruments of death for me. Therefore, I acknowledge that my flesh is powerless. I accept my death with Christ and trust Your resurrection power to enable me to overcome. (Zechariah 4:6-7)
  22. Safe and Secure – “Dear Lord, I am constantly facing difficult circumstances, which are beyond my ability. I become afraid and dismayed, but nothing is impossible with You. Since I have received Christ, You now live within me. You are with me wherever I go. I am grateful for Your indwelling presence.(Joshua 1:9)
  23. Strategy – “Like a wise master builder I laid a foundation, and another is building on it. But each man must be careful how he builds on it” (1 Corinthians 3:10). If you want for your life to count, focus on what matters now. Jesus warns: “For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul?” Allow Him to be your Lord today.
  24. Influencers – “Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven” (Matthew 5:16). Your wholesome attitude, your godly values, your character and works of mercy influence society, Even if you cannot speak out, people will take notice, and God will get the glory.
  25. Speak up-“Do not be afraid any longer but go on speaking and do not be silent for I am with you, and no man will attack you in order to harm you, for 1 have many people in this city” (Act 18:9-10). If God is with you, you are majority, God wants you to be salt of the earth and light of the world. Be ready to be used by Him today.
  26. Climate – The atmosphere in our homes depends on how we conduct ourselves in conversations and relationships with others. Proverbs 15:1 says, “A gentle answer turns away wrath, but a harsh word stirs up anger.” As men, we can be the first to care for and maintain the good climate in the family. Ask the Lord for wisdom!
  27. Blessing – The blessing of children by their parents is mentioned countless times in the Bible, lesus Himself set an example. “Then he took the children in his arms and put his hands on them and blessed them. (Mark 10:16). Pray persistently for your children! Give them words of blessings. They will be seeds to bear fruit later!
  28. Connection – If we want to reach a culture for Christ, the way is to reach men. Fathers need to connect with their sons on a heart level (see Malachi 4:6). TWR offers the Men’s Discipleship Course “Every Man a Warrior” as a tool to help men achieve these goals! Pray for the men in your church and look us up on the internet.
  29. High Standard – The standard the Lord Jesus sets for His followers is high in all areas of life. Marriage is no different. Look at Ephesians 5:25 – “Husbands, let each of you love his wife, even as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her.” Pray for husbands to live up to this standard and love their wives with Christ’s love.
  30. Dedication – To provide for our families and to show kindness to others, we must be diligent in our work. For “He who watches only the wind will never sow, and he who watches the clouds will never reap a harvest” (Ecclesiastes 11:4). Let us be diligent and pray for our employees and employers, and for good conditions in the workplace.
  31. Transformation – In 2 Corinthians 5:17, the Bible teaches that “if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. Old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new!”
The greatest proof that we have been saved is our lifestyle. Pray for the life of Christ to be manifested through your choices and attitudes.
